FIRST LINOLEUM BLOCK PRINT JAWN!

I had a lot of fun making this, not at first, but at the end I was super psyched. All at the price of one cut and a hole in my pants. I got to impatient and wanted to bust out the ink and neglected to finish the fur. I will not slack off next time! I used photoshop to make the black look more solid but that's all. Is that allowed?

Reel Around the Fountain

So, I just realized I scanned this after a piece fell off. It said "It's time the tale were told". This is a line from the Smiths song "Reel Around The Fountain" I am not to sure what Morrissey is singing about, and I really do not want to know (though I have my theories,as we all do). I wanted to do a bunch of collages inspired by Smith's songs. I only got around to 2 so far, I will post the other one later.

Six Months Later

New house, room mates, dog room mate, and new freedom! I hope this means I will make a lot of fun stuff but so far not so much. I mean it took me six months to remember I had a blog ( that no one looks at but that is cool). I usually like to hoard any thing I draw and let it pile up on the bottom shelf and maybe months from now I will check it out and be stoked. I guess this gives it more life other than in the drawer. Anyways here is one thing to spice this post up.

I made it when I was all kinds of dying after I got all my wisdom teeth out and could not take the pain aids. I was stoked on the idea of having a few days on the couch to draw all day but I could hardly sit up for a while. I have been trying to surround myself with productive, motivating friends. Also everyone I live with is amazing and that also puts me in a good productive mood (distracted mood is more like it). Until next time!

all I need

This is pretty much done. I started it in like october? It took me forever because I was picky about the tree colors and re-painted it A MILLION TIMES! The paint was cheap and watery also. The white spots are mess ups that I have to fix but I felt like putting it up here. I was going to do a series where each season has a mythical character but I wanna wait till I have better paint. HOORAH! I think it needs clouds!

Well I do not have a camera and this was to big to scan. Someone told me it looks like she is wearing a dress but no there is a hole in her chest and stuff is oozing out. The paper I used is textured. I think I should have used a different color? I am not happy with it, I feel it is missing something. Anyway it is not that phat but for the sake of updating.
